Parent and Child Group

A natural and supportive 'home-from-home' for babies and toddlers with their parents or carers.

Visit one of our groups and you will find a warm welcome and a gentle rhythm that guides throughout the session.

Our Parent and Child groups provide a peaceful setting for creative play with simple toys made from natural materials. Take part in craft activities that reflect the seasons and cultural festivals, sharing the joys and challenges of parenting, while your child enjoys playing alongside others with the reassurance of knowing that you are close by.

There is a time to share food - an organic snack of fruit, vegetables, rice cakes, water and herbal tea - followed by songs which reflect the seasons, with a rhythm reassuring to the young child. The morning draws to a close with time working and playing in our garden, finishing with our Goodbye Song - both an affirmation of our time together and a reminder that we will meet again soon.

Our groups are small and friendly – nourishing for child and adult – understanding the needs of childhood.
